Director of Development + Communications
The Diversity Center is seeking an experienced, strategic, and relationship-centered Director of Development & Communications to lead the organization's next phase of philanthropic growth. TDC has experienced significant organizational growth in recent years, expanding its programs, geographic reach, community partnerships, and philanthropic support across Santa Cruz and Monterey counties. The organization has strengthened its development infrastructure, established significant foundation and major donor relationships, created an endowment, and invested in stronger systems for measuring and communicating community impact.
The next Director will build on this foundation while helping TDC further diversify and strengthen its philanthropic revenue. This is a senior, hands-on leadership position for someone who can move comfortably between strategy and execution while effectively leveraging staff, volunteers, and contracted support.
Bilingual Regional Program Manager
The Bilingual Regional Program Manager is a full-time management position responsible for the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of LGBTQ+ programs, education, and community partnerships across Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties.
Working closely with the Director of Programs, this position translates TDC's Theory of Change, strategic priorities, and grant commitments into high-quality programs and measurable community impact. The role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, including program design and delivery, staff and volunteer coordination, training facilitation, community outreach, partnership development, event implementation, data collection, and evaluation.
The Bilingual Regional Program Manager works extensively with schools, educators, parents and caregivers, youth-serving organizations, behavioral health partners, and LGBTQ+ community organizations. Spanish/English bilingual fluency and the ability to work effectively across cultures, generations, identities, and communities are essential to this role.
