Our Volunteer Program is Back!

We are so grateful that you are interested in helping us deliver critical services and programs that build well-being in our center and our community. The Diversity Center is a vibrant and central part of LGBTQ+ life in Santa Cruz County, and our volunteers are integral to supporting our work. Volunteering is a great way to get involved, meet new people, and give back. We are seeking folks for not only one-day special events but also recurring volunteer positions.

Volunteer Application Process

  1. Submit a volunteer application

  2. A staff member will reach out to you to set up a phone interview

  3. If accepted, you will be invited to attend a volunteer orientation & training (if applicable)

  4. You may need to complete a live-scan background check, which costs $38 (you will not be turned away for an inability to pay this fee).
